- Got the opportunity to go to the countryside and do a humanitarian project for village people who are in need of wheelchairs. such a fun day!
- Got to drive into Transnistria territory. For those of you who don't know what Transnistria is... it is a large portion of Moldova that considers itself a separate country, and Russia considers them a separate country as well, but the rest of the world doesn't. It is pure communist territory. There is an saying among us Americans that basically says "once you go in, you never go out.." hahaha. Well we had a good time checking out the border patrol and even talking to some of the scary Russian border guards! Hahahah mom I know you will be super mad about this.. ;) but hey it was an adventure :)
- got a few new AWESOME investigators, one of them is Cristina, and she is a complete ANGEL. We love her. And we are also expecting some great things from our investigators Alina, Veronica, Valeria, a different Valeria, and a few other new English students that we are starting to meet with.
- We started teaching a new class with Elder Findlay and Elder Seach, its a leadership skills class. We do the whole thing in English and we have cool discussions with some really smart successful Moldovan people. Its really fun and is bringing the church a lot of publicity.
And besides having tons and tons and TONSSSS of lessons, that is about it!
I am LOVING MOLDOVA and the weather is getting warmer and more beautiful every single day. I love you all and I hope you have a good week!!!
va iubesc, si va doresc sanatate si fericire tot restul saptamanii :)
cu mare drag,
Sora Draper
